Ko-fi might be a bit more popular than Radiooooo. We know about 91 links to it since March 2021 and only 69 links to Radiooooo. I don’t know if it technically counts, but I use https://radiooooo.com. Source: 7 months ago
Check out Radiooooo it’s like pandora but you choose a country, a decade, and a vibe (slow/fast/weird). Source: 12 months ago
Oh wait, there’s another app for that called radioooo you can select a country and a decade. I’d try Nigeria in the 80’s, Zaire in the 70’s and 80’s and Ghana around then too. Oh and South Africa as well, though that will be more horns and electrics. Source: about 1 year ago
Hey y'all, I usually dig around for random obscure stuff in second hand record stores, but recently have been using radiooooo.com to give me a random track from a country and decade of my choice. it's awesome so far and I've found some really cool stuff, but I was wondering if there are any other services or apps people in here use to find obscure music. In the same spirit you have radiooooo where you can chose a country + a time period and you get a nice playlist. I've Discovered Amazing song on it. Source: about 1 year ago
Doing necessary work. How can I sponsor or otherwise provide fiat for this work? https://buymeacoffee.com/, etc. - Source: Hacker News / 2 months ago
A few alternatives for micro donations that people have mentioned: https://ko-fi.com/ https://github.com/sponsors https://www.buymeacoffee.com/ Any others, let me know. - Source: Hacker News / 6 months ago
I still have to try https://ci-en.net/, https://slushe.com/, https://ko-fi.com/, https://catbox.moe/, I heard they were possible good alternatives. But I couldn't say, dunno yet. Source: 7 months ago
I did, however, remember another crowdfunding platform that may be the best of both worlds here (second highest voted so far being Patreon). Ko-fi: it offers both monthly and one-time donations as well as a store where we could sell things like early access keys or things like that. Their fees are very low as well, capping out at 5%. With everything going on with Patreon lately that's probably why I've suddenly started hearing about Ko-fi this year. Source: 7 months ago
