I was looking for a GUI for rclone and found one. I am so happy for this software it has made working with rclone so much easier, and so far it has worked PERFECT. I love it!!!

Its worth keeping this (from their readme) in mind though: > However, at present SSHFS does not have any active, regular contributors, and there are a number of known issues (see the bugtracker). Not that it is unusable or anything, it is still in widespread use, but I'd guess many assume it to be part of openssh and maintained with it, when it isn't. An interesting alternative might be https://rclone.org/, which... - Source: Hacker News / 4 days ago
It's a hard lesson to learn like this, but it's a learning moment nonetheless. You don't rely on your provider to make backups for business-critical stuff like this, you need to manage it (and test!) it yourself. rclone[1] supports tons of storage providers. If you get access back and recover your business, start making backups onto other providers. [1] https://rclone.org/. - Source: Hacker News / 21 days ago

Seconding rsync and syncthing. The server could expose an smb or nfs share, the client could mount it, and then sync to that mount. Rsync over ssh also works, if you do not want to run smb/nfs. This is also a cool tool https://rclone.org/. - Source: Hacker News / 7 months ago

I earned at 16-18, learn a skill and become fairly good at it. And make an account on Fiverr. upwork. freelancer.com, etc. Design, code, or anything which can be offered digitally. If you get an order on any of them double down on it. Cold reach-out works, but you've to show something to them as a portfolio. Instagram is a good place, as I did. Source: about 1 year ago
If my subscribers and views were multiplied by 100, it would have become a part-time job. I would be declaring income on my tax form, and keeping track of expenses. I might be considering hiring part-time editors on freelancer.com, but since they'd be independent contractors, they'd be just an expense to me. They'd be responsible for their own taxes. I worked on freelancer.com for 3 months doing mostly side gigs. WIth the payment, it wasn't much of an issue for me. The first payment indeed, it was more "special", as in, it took 2 months until I got the money in my account. But any other payment after that, were processed within days (at worst). I had some other issues (due to the country I'm working from), like my VISA card not being accepted so I had to do... Source: about 1 year ago
I once posted on reddit my thoughts on freelancer.com and I assume, that it does not have a high reputation among other redditors. Someone who hired freelancers on that very site said, that clearing a payment is very difficult on that site, which I could understand. So do you have also faced other problems on that side? I am also waiting for payment since two weeks. Other than that, I think that the layout looks... Source: about 1 year ago
