Based on our record, ProtonVPN seems to be a lot more popular than REDCap. While we know about 310 links to ProtonVPN, we've tracked only 3 mentions of REDCap. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
REDCap seems similar to what you are searching for. It is secure (including compliance with 21 CFR Part 11, FISMA, HIPAA, and GDPR). It is widely disseminated, and you can check if your institution has access to it. It is "free" as long as your institution agrees to the terms and conditions of the REDCap org. I'm working on a research project that involves abstracting and importing patient data from EPIC into REDCap for later analysis. Currently, we are doing this manually (i.e. Copying and pasting things like name, date of birth, etc), and as you can imagine, it is quite tedious (and doing a single patient takes an hour and a half). Try the free version of Proton VPN specifically. Source: 7 months ago
Hey there, after doing some research it seems like the conclusion is your vpn. Nord VPN has a lack of port forwarding, while other vpns have port forwarding (proton, mullvad). That is most likely interrupting your speed. also, apparently nord does keep some sort of logs if your interested in that. I would recommend cancelling nord and getting something else like proton or mullvad (i would recommend proton more)... Source: 7 months ago
