Questions and Answers

As answered by people managing refern. and Directory Opus.

What makes your product unique?

refern.'s answer

The flow of collecting references when making art usually goes like this:

find references/inspirations online -> save those images and organize them -> use those images individually or in a moodboard -> reuse these references for next project / share with other people

refern lets you do all of these all in one platform rather than juggling multiple apps to do the same thing.

What's the story behind your product?

refern.'s answer

I'm an artist and a lot of times it was really frustrating not finding the right pictures, trying to organize/keep track reference images, and juggling too many apps when I just wanted to draw. I wanted something that can do it all and every component is well integrated, so I made refern.

Best file manager: a faster, more convenient way to transfer files
Like Total Commander, Directory Opus is as premium file manager – and it shows. It has an attractive icon-led interface that's busier than Total Commander's, but can be pared down using the various customization options. This is where Directory Opus really shines – pretty much every aspect of its operation can be tweaked and tuned to suit your needs.
Five Best Alternative File Managers
Directory Opus, aka DOpus, is a shareware file manager. Like the rest, DOpus boasts dual-pane browsing along with several other views, tabbed windows, integrated archive support, and built-in FTP. Its preview pane stood out in my trial, including full support for viewing photos and even editing your MP3 metadata. Directory Opus is shareware, costs $85 for a single license....
