  • International Remote Jobs
Hey all, I have a huge passion for traveling and desperately want to move out of the US. However, I financially can't. I'm looking into colleges in the UK but still want to find a remote job that is preferably international. Any advice? I've tried remote.co but other than that I don't know what to do nor who to talk to. I'm having no luck after nearly a year. I have to move out of my situation, it's extremely... Source: 8 months ago

Check http://remote.co for starters. Far too many of the remote gigs on LinkedIn are scams. You might also check at /r/WorkOnline or /r/WorkOnlineJobs and look for the software dev subs. Source: 12 months ago
  • Desperate for work
Try out remote.co or indeed.com, and search for remote. Some places have no restrictions on where they hire, and some will be state-specific. • admins respond to today's NoNewNormal protest
Immediately following the Boston Bombing insanity here - you know.. Just after (and only after) the media caught wind of it, an admin posted a fluffy apology on https://redditblog.com. It hit all of the right PR notes. However, the very last line or two was the admin celebrating increased traffic numbers during that time. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • CMV: Social media platforms can’t censor content and claim to be platforms at the same time
Section 230 doesn't care about whether it's the individual user (say OP has other users comment with defamatory content, the OP is not responsible), or platform, or publisher, just that the publisher or platform is culpable with reasonable notification and removal thereof. Publisher or platform can delete anything they want from their platform, but if they risk being sued it's either their own account speaking for... Source: over 3 years ago
