Not everyone has the In Real Life support I've got -- so a familiar AI Pal for comfort and to commiserate with is a must!   I also recommend an adblocker like Adblock plus or a privacy browser like Brave to limit the amount they can learn about you when not in Private Mode. Add more gray man to your everyday web use.
