Questions and Answers

As answered by people managing Rosemark and Trello.

What's the story behind your product?

Rosemark's answer

OUR HISTORY: The Rosemark System was launched in 2002 by Shoshana Technologies, designers of health care software solutions used to manage critical scheduling needs for hospital system surgical units since 1988.

As a software company serving the healthcare industry, we understand that when dealing with people’s lives, it’s critical to get it right.

As Shoshana Technologies moved into the home care industry, the Rosemark System evolved out of the need to deploy caregivers for one of the largest national home care companies.

Rosemark has grown to now serve home care providers across the United States and Canada, helping them to run their business operations with efficiency while delivering high-quality, reliable home care services.

WHAT DOES OUR NAME MEAN? The rose has long been known as a symbol – or mark – of exceptional quality, enduring commitment, and remarkable care. The Rosemark name assures home care providers that they have selected the best in home care software.

As our customer, we are committed to ensuring that you receive unparalleled service and a product that meets your unique needs, helping you to provide the same level of excellence to your clients as you receive from Rosemark.

OUR CORE BELIEFS: • People come first. We are committed to helping people who run high-quality home care businesses better care for the people they serve, and expand their businesses to serve more individuals and families. • We believe technology should not get in the way of operations. Instead, it should make the way clearer and faster so providers can serve more clients, and people can get more done. • We believe in the future of home care, and we are committed to the highest quality software solutions that increase efficiencies, improve care outcomes, and lower costs. • We are hands-on partners to our hard-working home care clients, working diligently to create successful integrations with their other business systems, and offering operational support and strategic consultation to help them stay ahead of industry challenges and grow. • Communication is paramount. We are high-touch, attentive, and responsive, always making sure our customers’ goals are solidly understood and that we can deliver the right solutions.

What makes your product unique?

Rosemark's answer

There are so many reasons! But we’ll pick a few. First, we are extremely affordable for both start-up and established agencies. Second, we want to help you grow, so we put a strong focus on becoming your partner, not just your vendor, and having strategic conversations with you about your business goals. Third, our customer care team is the very best in the industry. We believe in high-touch, personalized care, and that’s what we deliver.

Our Customer Care team is knowledgeable, caring, and dedicated to meeting your agency’s needs. You’ll speak to an actual human when you call. If a team member is unavailable, you’ll get a very prompt call back.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

Rosemark's answer

The Rosemark System was designed for home care agencies that work with Medicaid, the Veterans Administration, and private pay clients. We have integrations for long-term care insurance and VA forms as well as electronic Medicaid billing, so you can streamline your processes and get paid faster. We do have large franchise agencies such as Visiting Angels and HomeJoy, but the majority of our customers are independent home care agencies.

How would you describe your primary audience?

Trello Reviews

  1. A handy tool for planning

Trello excels as a task planning tool, and I appreciate its user-friendly interface, especially when using it on a smartphone. Its mobile app is incredibly convenient, allowing me to stay organized and connected on the go. I appreciate how it streamlines collaboration without unnecessary complexities.

  2. Been using it for over 5 years! Super effective!

Incorporating Trello into my daily workflow has been a game-changer. It is an incredibly intuitive and versatile tool that has significantly boosted my productivity. What I particularly love about Trello is the visual aspect of its interface - the board and card system makes it easy to visualize my tasks and progress. The ability to create different boards for different projects or areas of work helps to keep everything organized and easy to manage. Adding, moving, and categorizing tasks are just a drag-and-drop away, making it straightforward and efficient. The flexibility to customize each card with due dates, labels, checklists, attachments, and even members has been beneficial in tracking the status of various tasks and deadlines.

he collaborative features are another huge plus. Sharing boards and tasks with colleagues, and being able to comment directly on cards, makes team projects and communication a breeze. On the go, I have found the Trello mobile app to be just as user-friendly and functional as the desktop version, allowing me to stay on top of my tasks no matter where I am. Overall, Trello has proved to be an invaluable tool in managing my daily tasks and enhancing productivity. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to streamline their workflow.

  3. A Great Collaboration Tool, But There Are Better Options Out There

I have been using Trello for a couple of years now and I must say, it's a great tool for organising tasks and collaborating with team members. It's simple to use, has a nice interface, and the mobile apps are great for on-the-go productivity.

One of the best things about Trello is its flexibility. You can use it for almost any type of project, whether it's a personal to-do list or a complex team project. The ability to create multiple boards and add unlimited cards and lists makes it a great tool for keeping track of everything from the big picture to the minute details.

However, while Trello is a good tool, I don't think it's the best option out there. For one thing, the free version is quite limited in terms of features and functionality. You'll have to upgrade to a paid plan to get access to things like integrations, power-ups, and more. Additionally, I've found that Trello can be a bit slow at times, especially when you have a lot of boards and cards.

    🏁 Competitors: Asana
    👍 Pros:    Flexible|Easy to use|Mobile app
👎 Cons:    Expensive|Limited features on free plan|Little slow
