  It's a server management service, they use AWS (or your host of choice) under the hood. I personally use something similar called Runcloud which I haven't had any problems with. It's a halfway house between a managed platform and your own VPS. Means you don't have to worry about security, vhosts, ssl certificates, restricting access etc... They give you a quite thorough understanding in all the fundamentals and they have labs set up where you can practice everything you learn at each step.
