When you consider other consumer 3D experiences like World of Warcraft or Second Life (both of which had better graphics 20 years ago than Replika has today), it becomes evident that Replika under-delivers. Don't underestimate the strength of personal projects. If you ask a professor about their research, I find very often, they ask about things you have done in the past, which sort of feels like shit if youve done nothing huh?
