Same with OP I put my Amazon referral link in there. It's been decently well-received by Reddit, but I have a hard time getting recurring users.   I did a thing to somewhat help mitigate this problem. I made https://shopbysub.com which groups Amazon products left in reddit comments by subreddit, and makes them sortable by amount of upvotes. So you can go to e.g. https://shopbysub.com/r/BuyItForLife and see all the amazon products more or less recommended by redditors. Source: over 3 years ago
