  • Should a crypto index contain stablecoins?
I'm considering setting up an automatic crypto index/automatic portfolio rebalancer for a portion of my holdings, and I'm playing around a bit with the tools at shrimpy.io. My plan is to include some of the top coins by marketcap and some coins that I believe in long term. I want the portfolio to rebalance by threshold, meaning that whenever a coin gains or loses value beyond a set percentage, the entire portfolio... Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Can anyone suggest me any social trading platform?
Nobody mentioned https://shrimpy.io yet – it's a pay to play thing, but it's spot-on exactly what you're asking for, and it also has utility for rebalancing even when you are not "copy-trading.". Source: over 2 years ago
  • Weekend Discussion Thread for the Weekend of October 22, 2021
Hello All, I am looking for a platform like shrimpy.io but for stocks. I want to connect the platform using API with my stockbroker and create a weekly portfolio of stocks that will automatically place trades for me for ratio selected and execute stop loss when it reaches a level of loss. Good to have automatic sell all on take profit too. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance. Source: over 2 years ago
  • What’s your dream portfolio for rebalancing? Here’s mine.
But please let us pick our rebalancing strategy! As in threshold rebalancing or frequency balancing. Threshold rebalance will rebalance when 1 asset deviates +/- % from it's target allocation %. Frequency balancing just rebalances every N days, N weeks, or N months. Also having a stop loss ability would be great, like if the portfolio value drops N % it triggers a stop loss. At least these are key features to how... Source: about 3 years ago
  • Just looking for a level headed explanation on how this happens. So many stocks (especially heavily shorted ones) took IDENTICAL dips at 12:20pm eastern
Shrimpy just watches the profiles of good crypto traders and lets you subscribe portions or all of your portfolio to them. I think their incentive, besides earning their own money in the market, is shrimpy pays them based on how many subscribers they get etc. http://shrimpy.io I was skeptical as fuck at first but actually even as crypto was crashing these guys navigated things pretty well, a lot better than I... • Looking For a Bond ETF
Try ETF DATABASE and use their free search engine to look for short term bond ETF. Why short term? Because the Fed is still planning to raise rates. When they start to cut, you can move into intermediate or long term. You will have choices between Treasury, corporate, municipal, and blended. But at least you can search for parameters you like.
