Regarding forbidden countries, it’s not forbidden in the Netherlands, yet. They will announce a verdict in a form of a report by the end of 2022 [1]. It is. Most startups in the EU have to use more and more businesses in the EU. The selection is little, so way more changes to succeed if your EU based and serve both markets. For all my family (6 also) I moved all their emails to a free Gmail account, and used forwardmx.io (single domain = US$24/yr) to forward emails to free Gmail, and use their SMTP to send email from my domain. Source: about 2 years ago
All emails going to olddomain.com are handled by forwardmx.io (my own emails forward to [me@newdomain.com](mailto:me@newdomain.com), and the rest of the fam's emails get forwarded to [them@gmail.com](mailto:them@gmail.com)). Source: over 2 years ago
