  • What types of internships to apply for ?
Use https://simplify.jobs/. They have a good amount of internships for business majors. If you don't live in a city, would recommend you look at remote internships! You can work in your own home. Source: 7 months ago
  • Did I do good guys
Applying is easy with any automation bot. simplify.jobs worked for me and is free but I heard of a platform that you pay $100/month and it automatically applies to thousands of jobs for you. Forgot what it's called but you can google it. Source: 7 months ago
  • 500+ applications one interview
Hi OP, I’m one of the founders of Simplify. I’m happy to take a look at your resume for free, just shoot me a dm. Source: 7 months ago
  • How do you build this graphic?
On this landing page under the “career quiz” button there’s an animated graphic showing the app in action. How do I make something like this and what tools do I need? Source: 8 months ago

I don't like LinkedIn, but in Canada, there are excellent offers at Indeed.com, Levels.fyi and my favorite Hired.com, a friend also recommended simplify.jobs. - Source: dev.to / 9 months ago

  • Modelling a bathroom, should every tile be a component?
Give Quixel Mixer a go; pretty intuitive and can get great results. Source: over 1 year ago
  • What programs do I use to create custom NPCs/characters/3D assets in Unreal Engine 5?
Quixel Mixer is the texturing system from the makers of Megascans, who are now owned by Epic and so most of their stuff is free for UE users. Really nice for building textures based on the Megascans library. Source: over 1 year ago
  • One day, I'll own a classic MG. For now, I'll settle with a 3D modelled one (pics in comment)
To me, the real strength of Painter is the use of its baked maps to control effects like dust or ambient occlusion, and obviously the ability to paint details directly on the mesh with a workflow similar to Photoshop's. If detailing is what you're after, I'd definitely recommend to try it out, or have a look at it's free alternative : quixel mixer. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Does Mark Zuckerberg Not Understand How Bad His Metaverse Looks?
If you want to save yourself some hassle with having to work on a 3d texture in purely 2d space, I've heard Quixel Mixer is good, and free. I have not used it, I myself use substance painter. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • How do you guys make textures for 3d models?
Quixel mixer is free and super cool https://quixel.com/mixer. Source: almost 2 years ago
