• Please explain to me how the law treats websites that allow their users to search for stolen information.

  So if that is true, how could I go to the sites like https://intelx.io , https://dehashed.com/ ,https://snusbase.com/ and type email address that has been in a breach and obtain possible password and username sometimes for free, and sometimes for a couple of bucks? If what the OP of the linked post says is true. These platforms should not be legal, or am I missing something? Source: over 2 years ago

  Usually it depends on where it will end up, you'll have to look through multiple different companies that pay to collect this information. Haveibeenpwned is a really great indicator to see the basics of where your information has been leaked through, but depending on the breach I'd recommend http://snusbase.com to get more details about what was contained in those databases.   So it definitely happens on the HBO Max app from the play store, but does NOT happen when I stream from play.hbomax.com in fullscreen...weird stuff...but also I don't remember ever seeing anything about a 480p limit from streaming apps, and the HBO Max app is definitely higher resolution than that, it looks exactly the same from the app to the website...thanks for the tip though, I guess I'll just use the websites...   They no longer have a free trial directly but you can still get a free trial through Amazon or Hulu. You can also watch some free episodes by going directly to https://play.hbomax.com. Source: over 1 year ago

• Why you have the option for just HBO without max for the same price for max?

  I can't access HBO Now, https://www.hbonow.com shows a "404 Not Found" error and https://play.hbonow.com shows some random HTML. Source: almost 2 years ago
