Great product, first of all. I can really see a use for it. Are you afraid that this is too easy to clone? Someone with speechify: https://speechify.com/ And who wants to write a spotify API write code can do this. - Source: Hacker News / 11 months ago
Speechify is a simple and easy AI voice generator that only converts text to speech. You can type in the text you’d like to hear spoken or import it from a file or URL. You can select a voice and listening speed and press generate. Speechify has a free tier and a premium plan that offers more features and voices. - Source: dev.to / 11 months ago
Just FYI since you ended up using an external tts anyway - https://beta.elevenlabs.io/speech-synthesis is vastly better, especially for fiction. Also worth trying is: https://speechify.com/. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago

While you get some of the screenreader options set up, reading email is a very common task performed by Aira agents. Source: almost 2 years ago
You're basically describing Aira. You can either use the mobile app or there's sunglasses with a camera. You are basically on a video call with an "agent" (who is paid and trained) who helps you get around or read something or whatever. IIRC it's kinda pricey but there's some places like airports that give you free minutes. Source: almost 3 years ago
