Markdown is awesome! But, when writing 1000 words+ articles, I quickly feel the need for a better experience. As big as a number that is, I know how easy it is to get past it... From personal experience. There are sites like this (Wordcounter.net) that let you count the words and characters. Some writing programs even have a built in ones, please keep track of it. I will be checking the numbers before I read each one. Source: 9 months ago
