Even with that, that machine might be a bit too new to run XP. The official HP website only has drivers for 7 and above. If there are drivers for your device, Snappy Driver Installer here should be able to find them. Source: about 1 year ago

Download Snappy Driver Installer (you can find it HERE ), open it, download only the indexes and then select the drivers only for the SR300 (there will be 2 or 3 for it).
