That said, first aid techniques for what you describe: An app that let's you write down your emotions. Just something about the process of writing the emotion down makes them easier to care about. I use this app https://stopbreathethink.com/ and just use the check-in process. Source: over 2 years ago
Just learning to name the emotions. I used a free app for this: Https://stopbreathethink.com/ It has a check-in process where you choose a couple of emotions to get some recommended meditations. The meditations aren't necessary, just checking the emotions helped a lot. It also has cute stickers if you meditate several times in a row and that kept my simple brain going. I saw that other people used an emotion wheel. Source: almost 3 years ago
Oh I do! Try Headspace. You have to pay for it, but I am not certain of the current price per month since fortunately my employer now pays for it as a benefit. However, at one time I did pay for it and it was definitely worth it if you try to meditate every day. Only 10 minutes per day and my mood greatly improved in 2 weeks. There are also some free apps such as https://stopbreathethink.com. Source: about 3 years ago
Your family would appreciate if you actually practice meditation because meditation is more Christian than it is Buddhist. https://hallow.com/. Source: over 1 year ago
Hallow – Headspace for Catholics, a Christian prayer app. Raised over $55 million in funding. Source: about 2 years ago
Hallow is a Catholic Prayer app with seemingly endless material. There are the daily readings/gospel, rosaries, meditations, morning, evening, night prayers. Bible in a Year is on there and I assume Catechism in a Year will be as well. All of Fr Mike Schmitz's homilies as well as other priests. Plenty of novenas etc etc. It is, in my opinion, worth every bit of the $8 a month. Source: over 2 years ago
This app might be just what you are looking for! https://hallow.com/. Source: about 3 years ago
You can most definitely read the prayers and meditations as you say the rosary. I don't know if this app is available everywhere, but the Hallow app is a really starting point for guided audio meditations! I also like Pray more novenas which helps you learn new devotions. Source: about 3 years ago
