Games Like Rust: 16 Similar Multiplayer Survival Game Alternatives
Subnautica is an endless open-world survival action game with horror elements, and it’s the first game we’d recommend to Rust players who are looking for a game that feels just as complete even without a multiplayer mode.

Speaking of perilous settings, Subnautica: Below Zero is a follow-up to the hit open-world survival game and sees you returning to an alien world covered in water.

  • Screen apnea: What happens to our breath when we type, tap, scroll
I've never been more conscious of my breath while computing than when I was playing Subnautica[0], which proffers a game loop significantly involving running out of air and coming up for breath. Additionally, I would take swigs of water when my character was getting thirsty. A surprisingly embodied video game. 0. https://unknownworlds.com/subnautica/. - Source: Hacker News / 12 days ago
  • [no spoiler] I thought Unknown Worlds Entertainment was adding this gem and all its add-ons to the original game in an update anybody know what happened with this
According to their website, they were doing updates to try and make the Switch versions of the game actually playable, and then they've been working on Below Zero first. The just released a big BZ update like two months ago with some tweaks and bug fixes, a new game mode, a new building part, and some other cool stuff. They're supposed to be working on backporting a lot of BZ stuff and QoL updates into Subnautica... Source: over 1 year ago

  • Does anyone know where I can find some free 2d backgrounds for a bank robbery?
Ive looked on itch.io, gamedevmarket.net, opengameart.org, and r/gameassets but didnt find any. Surely bank robberies are a common enough theme to be some out there somewhere, but I cant find them and I just started so I don't know where else to look tbh. Im also a broke college student so it needs to be a free asset or I cannot afford it lol. Source: 7 months ago
