I'm Vivian Williams, the CEO of Swift Ride, and my co-founder Yathish (CTO) and I first crossed paths as college lab partners. Back then, I relied on my bike for commuting, but the constant petrol expenses were a challenge due to my unstable income. Yathish, on the other hand, had a daily long walk to rely on BMTC (public buses) for his college commute. Our shared struggle with college transportation issues inspired us to develop this concept. My background in sales and marketing, coupled with Yathish's tech product development expertise, provided the ideal mix of skills that motivated us to become co-founders. Our goal is to revolutionise college transportation across India.

Swift Ride is a car/bike pooling app designed to provide a convenient and affordable mode of transportation for college students in India. The app connects student ride-givers with ride-takers along the same route, providing both convenience and affordability. Ride-givers earn money, while ride-takers have a hassle-free and cost-effective mode of transportation starting at just ₹3 per km.

The primary technologies used for building Swift Ride include web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Figma, and Material UI for the web app. The backend is powered by Django, with the API managed by Django Rest Framework. Real-time features are implemented using Django-Channels. AWS is used for hosting and file storage, while Postgresql serves as the relational database. Additionally, there's an Android app developed in Kotlin through Android Studio.

As an IT professional, I have been using LogMeIn Central for several months now to manage and monitor my organisation's endpoint infrastructure. Overall, I have found the software to be comprehensive in terms of its features, but average in terms of performance and advanced capabilities.
One of the standout features of LogMeIn Central is its wide range of capabilities for endpoint management. From remote control and asset management to patch management and software deployment, this software offers a range of tools that are useful for IT professionals. I particularly appreciated the security features, such as password protection and two-factor authentication, which help to protect against unauthorised access.
However, while LogMeIn Central is relatively easy to use and offers a user-friendly interface, I did experience some performance issues. The software can be slow at times, particularly when attempting to access remote devices, which can be frustrating. Additionally, while the software offers a good range of features, it lacks some advanced capabilities that are offered by other endpoint management solutions, such as advanced reporting and analytics.
In terms of pricing, LogMeIn Central is somewhat expensive compared to other endpoint management software on the market. While it may be worth the investment for larger organisations with more complex endpoint infrastructure, smaller businesses may find it too costly.
