I've been using Sygic Travel from the Czech Republic and really like it. It doesn't use Google Maps, but you just press the location on the map, click add, then it autosorts to give you an optimized itinerary (like yours does) and spits out the itinerary. Just please ask someone with specific knowledge of these things before you embark on them. Check Wikipedia, it is very peer reviewed when it comes to science based information. Try out metafact as well. Remember just because something has someone with letters before their name (Dr) or qualifications under their belt, still check out the person, a vaguely connected qualification from 40 years ago doesn't hold a lot...
