Taco Digest is a web app for creating customizable email newsletters from your favorite sources. We know how hard it is to follow the news, social media, and friends' updates in the modern world. We're constantly bombarded with an enormous amount of information that can even affect our mental health.
With Taco Digest our goal is to reduce informational consumption to just one fulfilling and clean email per day 🧘 In our simple interface, you only need to pick your sources, select preferred days of the week and time in your time zone.
Right now you can create your personal digest from these sources: 👽 Reddit - best posts on selected subreddits 🧑💻 Websites, Blogs and RSS - the latest updates on your favorite news or blog websites 📺 YouTube - new videos uploaded from your beloved creators 💰 Exchange Rate - today's exchange rates for any currency or some of the crypto ☀️ Weather - weather update for the day in your location
It is nearly not enough to completely remove all the noise from our day-to-day lives but we'll be constantly working towards that goal by adding new sources.
We hope you'll enjoy the best email newsletters created by you 😊

Looking forward to Twitter integration!
Apache Mesos might be a bit more popular than Taco Digest. We know about 9 links to it since March 2021 and only 7 links to Taco Digest. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.

I worked at several Bay Area startups, mainly in NLP and machine learning roles. I was part of a company called PowerSet, which was building a natural language processing engine and was acquired by Microsoft. I then joined Twitter in its early days, around 2010, when it had about 200 employees. I started on the AI side but transitioned to infrastructure because I found it more satisfying and challenging. When we adopted Kubernetes at Criteo, we encountered initial hurdles. In 2018, Kubernetes operators were still new, and there was internal competition from Mesos. We addressed these challenges by validating Kubernetes performance for our specific needs and building custom Chef recipes, StatefulSet hooks, and startup scripts. - Source: dev.to / 3 months ago
In the beginning, there was docker. In 2013, building on linux internals, docker packaged containers for mass adoption and made it easy to share a complete runtime environment for an application across the network. Check out their first demo at PyCon 2013 (I was there!) At the time, serious workloads ran on something like Mesos, which was not “container-native” and had its own way of packaging and distributing... - Source: dev.to / 5 months ago
Distribution of containers to servers, clusters, and data centers Keeping applications up and running with the required number of instances Upgrading applications without downtime These issues are also known as cloud-native characteristics of modern applications. Therefore, a need for container orchestration systems has arisen. There are three leading container orchestrators on the market: Docker Swarm... - Source: dev.to / 12 months ago
