Beyond 2FA, some type of chaumian cash like https://taler.net/en/ might help too. But the problem is really downgrade attacks. US guy here (not a lawyer), definitely set up the company first and have written stuff in place for what each founder/dev gets. Team disagreements over a multi-sig or distribution can be a killer and are likely going to be your main issue.
