  • Distraction-free Instagram mod for ios
There used to be an open javascript-free site you could use called Bibliogram.art, but it's been discontinued. (Same as teddit.net for Reddit and Nitter.net for Twitter.). Source: about 1 year ago
  • The Reddit app-pocalyse is here: Apollo, Sync, and BaconReader go dark | Many major third-party apps are finally shutting down.
Teddit.net still seems to work. Free. Open Source. No Javascript. No Ads. Privacy Respecting. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Apollo is dead. Long live Apollo
    > Having an equivalent of Nitter and Invidious would be amazing! Something like https://teddit.net/ ? - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
  • Child p*** is actively circulating the site and app while nothing is actually being done and I'm leaving
Does deleting my account do anything more to than just moving to Narwhal? Because I still want to be able to actively participate in the two or three subs I care about and I like https://teddit.net/ but, it's slow, doesn't have an app, and I cant actually interact with anything. I ask because when you delete your account, everything stays except for just the account itself, so will just using narwhal have any more... Source: about 1 year ago
  • How will reddit's API changes affect reddit mirrors?
I'm not sure what to better call them than mirrors, but some examples are teddit, kddit, and currently or perhaps permanently down are libreddit and lurrker. I assume they're not scraping reddit for content which means using the API, and since they seem pretty up to date, it must mean a lot of API calls right? Does anyone know what the future holds for sites like these? I tried searching the web a bit to find an... Source: about 1 year ago

  • Hi guys i made a personal portfolio website. How would y'all rate it
Find a more pleasing set of colors to work with. The light gray font against a white background on your landing page is very difficult to read. If you need help finding colors that work well together try looking at Adobe's Color page, its REALLY useful: https://color.adobe.com/create/color-wheel. Source: 7 months ago
  • How do you pick paint colors that go well together, that aren't just different shades
I often use tools like this interactive adobe color wheel when oil painting or doing graphic design. It lets you pick a specific color, and then get analogous, complimentary, split complimentary, or other groups of colors Is there something similar that can be used for paint colors from specific brands? • New to digital art, any advice?
Also, the colors are a bit bright and (in my personal opinion, don't know your character) don't match well. There are plenty of sites that can give pretty decent palettes if you don't have anything specific in mind, and can filter for specific colors if you're in, say, a green mood. Adobe Color and Coolors are the ones I use most often. Source: 7 months ago
  • Color Appearance and the End of Hering’s Opponent-Colors Theory
    > I'd love to code up a machine learning project that showed the user many color combinations. I teach painting in an art school. The huge problem with almost all pallet choosing apps (e.g. Adobe's https://color.adobe.com/) is that they produce swatches: a small collection of discreet color values (e.g. red, green and yellow). These would present as peaks in a hue histogram. These swatches would be great for... - Source: Hacker News / 12 months ago
  • I suck at choosing color I have watched video on color theory and i can't find the right combination. any suggestion
Once you chose a principal color for your project, simply use one of all color harmony rules that exist to find the other colors. Check this color harmony finder from Adobe. Source: about 1 year ago
