For GitHub, I'll say just do basic things and most importantly learn about merging and creating branch checkout, etc. Try to work with a team where if you even push in main by mistake it won't be a blunder. Tutorials are good but I was at the same place once. Git was scary lol. There are some intermediate things like rebase etc. But you won't need most of it. I also recommend an adblocker like Adblock plus or a privacy browser like Brave to limit the amount they can learn about you when not in Private Mode. Add more gray man to your everyday web use.
