I use the light-up cube for a timer. I bought it from https://timeqube.com/. It has a bunch of different time options, and it changes color throughout the session to keep everyone on the same page. It's been a lifesaver for ending sessions on time. I have clients who will tie up all of their loose ends once they see the timer start flashing without me having to say a word. Break time reminder apps like stretchly or workrave. Source: over 2 years ago
Take breaks every 20-30 mins. You can use any app to remind you of breaks. I personally used Strechly when I was on Windows, it is a great app for this purpose. On Linux, I use Safe Eyes, same concept, just some UI changes, and more features. - Source: dev.to / over 2 years ago
