  You can set up a cracked server. Your daughter can play using a launcher like tlauncher (https://tlauncher.org/en/). Not sure if you have such a setting in the official minecraft server, but you can turn online mode off, just search for such a setting in the config file.   I have been using tlauncher for over 2 years now on mac and windows and not a single issue has arised. I even scanned it and it was fine! The only reason why people say it gives viruses is because it makes your pc more susceptible to viruses and hackers if you are on servers escpecially. • I made a chrome extension that summarises articles into a single paragraph using AI, making it super easy to save stuff in Obsidian. Hit copy and then paste into Obsidian for better indexing and rediscovery of saved articles. Search "squish AI" in the chrome store to try it out :)

• Importance of detailed character backstory?

  Does it matter if the player is having fun writing them? I sure have, I'll even write a book about my character with as much cliché as you'd expect but I have fun doing it, you can read it, throw it on tldrthis.com or don't. The player character is their entire vessel for the game, if they're writing paragraphs of backstory I'd be happy because that usually means they want to invest that much in the play.
