PorkBun's answer:
PorkBun might be a bit more popular than TLD List. We know about 96 links to it since March 2021 and only 85 links to TLD List. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
Here is a site that lists prices and renewals. It is not a comprehensive list, but it is a long list. https://tld-list.com/ Renewals is where many registrars 'get' you. Prices can jump considerably. I have had domains from many providers, the only one which ripped me off via 'dark patterns' was GoDaddy, which cost me $400 for a one year one page website and domain name. - Source: Hacker News / 6 months ago
Also, in the same space, that is, "Comparison site for Domain Registrars" -- there apparently also exists the following: https://tld-list.com/ Not sure if the two sites are related in any way. The second definitely seems more graphical, that is, more "UI rich" for lack of a better term, than the first... - Source: Hacker News / 9 months ago
Https://expatcircle.com/cms/why-you-should-never-use-cloudflare-it-causes-problems-is-bad-for-seo-and-a-spyware-tool/ If you do for domain price only, there are comparison sites. Just recently sombody posted one on YC. It may have been this one: https://tld-list.com/ Spaceship is owned by namecheap. Namecheap is supposed to be good too but I don't undertand why they would undercut their own prices. - Source: Hacker News / 11 months ago
You can have a look on https://tld-list.com/. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
If you want to save even more money, you can register your first year on a registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.) when they have a sale and then transfer the domain to Cloudflare. The best possible price for any TLD can normally be found on TLD List. This will only be cheaper than Cloudflare for the first year. - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago
Not fastmail, but I was going to migrate to https://porkbun.com/. Put it on hold because of issues (which I see is now down to the 72 hour delay) and domain renewals coming up. - Source: Hacker News / about 2 months ago
You can go ahead and buy the domain from here, or if you already have a preferred registrar, just search the domain on their site and buy it there (I find myself using Porkbun a lot because I like the experience even though I am a vegetarian lolol). - Source: dev.to / 5 months ago
Porkbun [1] is also good (I have no affiliation with them; just a happy customer). [1] https://porkbun.com/. - Source: Hacker News / 5 months ago
Might depend on what you want. Cost+service - http://porkbun.com Service+extras+non-US - https://netim.com Privacyish - https://njal.la/ While cloudflare's a few cents cheaper, not giving freedom to set DNS is a no-go and not worth those few cents. I'm also not that interested in further cloudflare tracking. AWS: Route53 apparently works better with AWS's SES (cheap emailing). But that's what a friend... - Source: Hacker News / 9 months ago
First things first, you'll need to register a domain if you haven't already. You can do this through any domain registrar like GoDaddy, Porkbun, or even Cloudflare itself. - Source: dev.to / 12 months ago
