Kodi + trakt.tv. And my movie collection looks better than Netflix. Also, I have more content than Netflix. Trakt helps to organize it. I used to use Kodi plugins but now it`s too much hassle. Source: 7 months ago
I spent some time working on this tool called IMDB-Trakt-Syncer which syncs user watchlist, ratings and comments for Movies, TV Shows and Episodes both ways between IMDB and Trakt. Also syncs episode ratings. You can use this script alongside PlexTraktSync and TMDB-Trakt-Syncer to get your ratings syncs across all 4 platforms! It should work on any OS. The project's Github repository and source code can be found... Source: 8 months ago
Good afternoon everyone!! I am a long time browser/reader of the all mighty reddit but this is my very first post. I very recently learned about trakt.tv and best I can tell it is great. I am in search of some information as to how to get Jellyfin Media Server to synchronize with the site. I installed the plug-in and authorized the device using the provided link but the browser never redirected. Thanks in... Source: 9 months ago
No movie site / app I am aware of gives you the opportunity to follow filmmakers. And that's a pity - both for movie lovers as myself and for filmmakers as yourself, who e.g. Want to keep track of their colleagues' work. That's why I built movienerd. Ripgrep: A super-fast file searcher. You can install it using your system's package manager (e.g., brew install ripgrep on macOS). Fd: Another blazing-fast file finder. Installation instructions can be found here: https://github.com/sharkdp/fd. - Source: dev.to / 4 months ago
Hyperfine is such a great tool that it's one of the first I reach for when doing any sort of benchmarking. I encourage anyone who's tried hyperfine and enjoyed it to also look at sharkdp's other utilities, they're all amazing in their own right with fd[1] being the one that perhaps get the most daily use for me and has totally replaced my use of find(1). You call it with `n` and get an interactive fuzzy search for your directories. If you do `n https://github.com/sharkdp/fd. - Source: Hacker News / 6 months ago
Many (most?) of them have been overhauled with success. For find there is fd[1]. There's batcat, exa (ls), ripgrep, fzf, atuin (history), delta (diff) and many more. Most are both backwards compatible and fresh and friendly. Your hardwon muscle memory still of good use. But there's sane flags and defaults too. It's faster, more colorful (if you wish), better integration with another (e.g. exa/eza or aware of git... - Source: Hacker News / 6 months ago
