I spent some time working on this tool called IMDB-Trakt-Syncer which syncs user watchlist, ratings and comments for Movies, TV Shows and Episodes both ways between IMDB and Trakt. I have seen options like KAPWING and Flixier which are excellent paid options for people whose purpose is quick conversions and trimming. I however would like more in-house experimentation.
