I spent some time working on this tool called IMDB-Trakt-Syncer which syncs user watchlist, ratings and comments for Movies, TV Shows and Episodes both ways between IMDB and Trakt. I had ideas to build an app, and made few 2 years ago or so. Indeed these technologies are great to start with. I would suggest going with Kodular.io or thunkable.com instead of appinventor.
