I've seen a few posts about this but they're a few years old, and I wasn't sure if things may have changed. I know that data caps etc matter less these days with larger data plans. That said, I'd love some advice. The service I'm going for, transistor.fm, recommends MP3. They also recommend a max file size of 200MB. Both in mono, an MP3 version of my first episode is 38.5MB. This will step you thru changing the language in the settings from Mandarin to English, using the onboard browser Lightning to download an app, and then the onboard file browser to install it. They are installing XRAI but you can browse to apkpure.com or one of the other apk download sites instead. Source: 8 months ago
