As a writer, I wanted to use text-to-speech technology to create Hebrew-based biblical study materials. However, I struggled to find a suitable product that could support this language and wouldn't cost a fortune. After an extensive search, I discovered TTSMaker.
TTSMaker not only supports mainstream languages but also supports Hebrew. I was delighted to find that the production process was incredibly smooth, and the resulting audio was of high quality. Best of all, TTSMaker is a free product, which makes it even more appealing for budget-conscious users like myself.
I am incredibly grateful for TTSMaker, which has made my work as a writer much more accessible and efficient. I would highly recommend TTSMaker to anyone who is searching for a reliable, free text-to-speech solution, especially for those who work with languages that are not widely supported by other products.

I would like to apologize for being a bit disconnected from everyone on Dev.to for the last couple of weeks. Having recently started a new role as CTO of BCA Research, I have been heads down getting a handle on all the really interesting projects we have going on here. I have recently been looking at some Text to Speech services like 11 Labs (https://elevenlabs.io/) and Speechify (https://speechify.com/) to see... - Source: dev.to / 24 days ago
Thank you. I think having it built in is a very good idea. I saw https://elevenlabs.io and even Twilio have similar features. I saw a lot of companies use UptimeRobot as a separate service, instead of hosting it themselves. I believe that makes sense. When the page is down, you UptimeBot is down as well. - Source: Hacker News / 4 months ago
This workflow allows anyone to easily create stories and content for children. While we utilized Azure's TTS (Text-To-Speech) service for its high-quality audio generation, newer audio services like ElevenLabs can be integrated for further improvements. They offer different voice cloning techniques today, starting from 30 seconds of audio input (sounds somewhat like the cloned voice but definitely not exactly the same) to multiple hours of voice input (sounds like the actual person). In addition, you can adjust the voices with a few parameters. The voice from the video could be an... - Source: Hacker News / 7 months ago
