  • Should I buy the LG 38WN95C-W?
The same would apply to the LG38 in regards to life span/GPU viability ... But I would definitely find some way to either extend or purchase a 3rd party warranty for it; the LG one year warranty is basically insulting imo for such an investment. I recently bought an LG C1 OLED and it too came with the dumb 1 year warranty so first thing I did was buy a 5 year extended warranty via Upsie. Peace of mind and all... Source: over 2 years ago
  • I have just put my 100th hour on my C1 48
Also ... If you haven't already done so, you can get a 5 year warranty with Upsie that includes burn in protection for a very reasonable price. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Device protection/Refurbished devices seem like a scam.
Though I've never had to use it, I think Upsie provides a lot more for your money. It's an upfront charge for 2 years of coverage (usually works out to less than $5 per month) with a much lower deductible. After 2 years, the street price of a refurbished version of your phone is gonna be pretty cheap on Amazon. Source: almost 3 years ago
