  Sounds like a cliche but las vegas is actually super walking friendly. and weather isnt a big deal since you can spend time in the casino / shops all over there too. a ton of shows. recommend vegas.com if you book things since they are $ cheaper than directly from the show and never had problems.   Resort fees are $39.95 per Caesars website, not $45 as others claim. It's a 4 night stay as well, not 5. Total for a room all-in booking direct would be $500.91. With flying Spirit, nothing is free. Assuming you check a bag (cheaper than carry on) for $55 and don't care where you sit (or anything else) you'll be out $504 for two tickets.   I think a lot of people book hotels using credit card rewards. But another option is hoteltonight.com which is where many hotels sell their extra, unsold rooms. I believe you can book out several months in advance though, funny enough. Source: about 2 years ago

  If you can get to the Metro North station before the last train, do so. The metro north trains are fine. The worst problem you might have are some loud drunk people headed home after a night out.
