The key difference here being that this is two way hashing so passwords can be decrypted. In reality, there are a lot of attack vectors like MITM, event logging or sometimes straight up storing data in plaintext. First, Veracrypt is NOT a password manager, is a file or disk encryption tool. You can create a secure file that contains an excel file with passwords, photos of your ID, personal documents, etc. While Kee pass is ONLY a password manager. So to compare both is does not make sense.
I use Kee Pass for my on hand passwords and Veracrypt for my files and I have used a lot of free and paid password managers and file crypto solutions, I am happy to have a USB with my Keepass DB and also with a VeraCryp encrypted file that contains all my emergency documents, and all is well protected. Also, I have a 1 TB external HD that is fully encrypted with VeraCrypt and contains all my laptop backup.
the problem relies on the fact that you need to have a master PW for KeePass and also for Veracrypt :)
I recommend - VeraCrypt.
