This is usually very limited. For instance, I used voip.ms, and they limit it to 100 per day and costs me abotu a penny a message (separate charges for inbound and outbound, so 2 cents to receive a message and then forward it along) This is done because SMS forwarding looks spammy and the receiving carrier will block the sending carrier entirely (this is why Google had to end it). I have a FreePBX instance hosted with freepbxhosting.com. The external calls have perfect voice quality, but when we internally call each other via our extension numbers, the voice quality of the calls are quite choppy. If you host your server at cyberlynk with freepbxhosting.com you can get the modules necessary for Yealink EPM included, or you can host through Clearly IP (It's still at cyberlynk). I do recommend hosting as it tends to be a lot easier and the built in firewall is quite robust.
