  • Uses for an old Gear VR (S6)
You can use this to make it a 6DOF headset and try some games https://riftcat.com/vridge. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Pc game with cardboard vr
I remember trying the demo version of VRidge ages ago, my phone back then wasn't really ready for it but still played a couple of levels of the original DooM without too much issues. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Is this dude physically incapable of not making clickbait?
That's years after Riftcat/VRidge, iVRy and AMD ReLiveVR did it and finally Airlink only happened because VirtualDesktop was stealing the show, an as far as I know only existed because this engineer started it on their own, PC compatibility was very very low on Metas TODO list. • Samsung no longer supports GearVR but you can still use it as a PC VR headset with the help of VRidge streaming (it’s 30% off until 3rd October with code SPOOKY2022). I’m putting a guide on how to install VRidge on GearVR in the comments.

  • Two ways of using Vive Flow with PC: Vridge (SteamVR) and NoVNC (Desktop)
One way is with Vridge / Riftcat, which is the only program I know of which allows you to use the Flow with SteamVR. You have to install Riftcat on your PC, which can be downloaded on their website and then you have to install vridge on the Vive Flow. Https://riftcat.com/vridge Since it is not fully supported on the Vive Flow, you have to sideload it e.g., with Sidequest. You can find the apk-File in this... Source: over 1 year ago

  • Fragmented thinking is a bigger threat to flow state than interruptions
I use Cold Turkey to block my habbit of scrolling time-wasting sites when I should be reflecting harder on what it is needed to solve the issue at hand. https://getcoldturkey.com/ It's almost like I need some mental space, to meditate on the solution, but that feels exhausting, so I choose sometimes to mindlessly scroll. • Masturbation addict, any tips?
Avoid all triggers. It's easier to avoid being triggered than to have self-control once you're already triggered. https://getcoldturkey.com/ You can get this and block all websites using *. Put websites you want as exceptions in the exceptions box. Have the block on for a certain period of time, then you can edit the exceptions list if you want and start the block again. • Video games ruin everything for me
In my experience, installing something like Cold Turkey on your PC (and having someone set up Screen Time with a hard-to-guess PIN on your Apple devices, if you have any) can help prevent relapses early on when the cravings are the strongest. Source: 12 months ago
  • How to block porn sites on pc?
I use this website blocker called cold turkey blocker. You can get it here on Cold Turkey - The Toughest Website Blocker on the Internet (getcoldturkey.com) . You can type out all porn sites that you know and put a password to it. If you are a real mf then just type gibberish as the password. It forces you download this extension on all browsers and works even on incognito mode. And the best part is IT DOESNT... Source: about 1 year ago
