  You know that Quicken comes from the same company as Quickbooks, right? Personally I would go back to a #2 and ledger paper before I give Intuit another nickel. Quicken For Small Business looks inexpensive at the moment, but it is also SaaS and they will still have you by the short hairs just like they do now. Take a look at waveapps.com . • Just confirming for others that QB 2022 did indeed die at end of subscription

  You can dig for my other post if you want, short story is that I was tricked into upgrading from QB Desktop 2019 to 2022 because "2019 will stop working". I was not told QBD 2022 was subscription based. They hit me up 30 days before end of subscription and jacked my annual fee from $220 to $549. After 15 years I'm done with this. Solo Freelancer.   If my subscribers and views were multiplied by 100, it would have become a part-time job. I would be declaring income on my tax form, and keeping track of expenses. I might be considering hiring part-time editors on freelancer.com, but since they'd be independent contractors, they'd be just an expense to me. They'd be responsible for their own taxes.   I worked on freelancer.com for 3 months doing mostly side gigs. WIth the payment, it wasn't much of an issue for me. The first payment indeed, it was more "special", as in, it took 2 months until I got the money in my account. But any other payment after that, were processed within days (at worst). I had some other issues (due to the country I'm working from), like my VISA card not being accepted so I had to do... Source: about 1 year ago

  I once posted on reddit my thoughts on freelancer.com and I assume, that it does not have a high reputation among other redditors. Someone who hired freelancers on that very site said, that clearing a payment is very difficult on that site, which I could understand. So do you have also faced other problems on that side?
