Wide Angle PDF Converter is a Windows application, which allows users to manage, convert and secure their PDF files, all in one place. All conversions and PDF file management are performed locally, so there is no need to upload sensitive documents to the web.

It enables you to securely convert PDF documents to a variety of formats including Word, Power Point and Excel. PDF files can also be converted to mages such as JPG, PNG, SVG and GIF, as well as to other formats such as TXT, HTML, EPUB, XPS and PostScript.

Additionally PDF files can also be secured using the software, password protection added, permissions for collaborators set and watermarks added. Multiple PDF documents can be merged or split into individual PDF files.

This comprehensive PDF manager also enables users to add bookmarks and attachments for easy navigation and file sharing, as well as export selected text or images from PDFs for use in other applications or documents.

Wide Angle PDF converter is available as a free demo download enabling users to convert or modify two of their PDF files. The full version of the software allows users to install the software on two computers and use it indefinitely. The software is updated regularly and product updates as well as friendly customer support are provided free of charge.

  • Is there a programming language that will blow my mind?
Haskell - a general-purpose functional language with many unique properties (purely functional, lazy, expressive types, STM, etc). You mentioned you dabbled in Haskell, why not try it again? (I've written about 7 things I learned from Haskell, and my book is linked at them bottom if you're interested :) ). Source: about 1 year ago
  • Where to go from here?
Where you go is entirely up to you. According to haskell.org, Haskell jobs are a-plenty. sigh. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Haskell.org now has "Get Started" page!

  • Haskell.org now has "Get Started" page!
Haskell.org now has a big purple Get Started button that takes you to a nice short guide (haskell.org/get-started) that quickly provides all the basic info to get going with Haskell. It is aimed for beginners, to reduce choice fatigue and to give them a clear, official path to get going. Source: over 1 year ago
  • dev environment for windows
I just jumped into the wiki "Write Yourself a Scheme in 48 hours" which looks pretty good. (although some of the text explanation is hard to understand without context).. I used cabal to set up the starter project. Sublime editor seems to work OK and I just use the git Bash shell on windows to compile the program directly on the command line. So maybe this is all good enough for now (?). It seems installing... Source: over 1 year ago
