This is a frontend for various Windows package managers, it does not do package management itself. You would have to investigate the specific package manager you want to use. Consider using winget to keep the majority of your packages up-to-date. It's baked into Windows 11 and the most recent versions of Windows 10 (as far as I am aware of), it also has updating capabilities, etc. Source: over 1 year ago

Ubuntu by default comes with the bash shell. Bash is great but I personally find it harder to customize. That is why I use Z shell, more commonly known as zsh.
