Sanity treats your content as structured data and makes it available through a simple and powerful API. Content can be created and edited in our collaborative editor, called the Sanity Studio, which is a fully customizable, client-side web application. You can run the studio on your laptop, host it with us on Sanity.io, or deploy it on your own web server.
Sanity.io might be a bit more popular than Write.as. We know about 55 links to it since March 2021 and only 54 links to Write.as. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
Substack has problems too. For hosted foss services, write.as (https://write.as/) and bearblog (https://bearblog.dev/) are good. If self-hosting, the choices are infinite. - Source: Hacker News / 3 months ago
Take the site write.as, for instance, which has a 70 domain authority (Moz) and a 79 domain rating (Ahrefs). Both of those are very high scores and represent the kind of links that would probably retail for at least $400 on the gray market for backlinks. Write.as will happily give you as many of these as you want for $6 per month. - Source: dev.to / 10 months ago
On that same just write mentality there's also, https://write.as/. There are several communities that run the same site, but basically it's a blog site that has no comments, no views none of the BS and let you focus on writing. Source: about 1 year ago
I also wish write.as were more popular. It's like old Medium, but less popular but with a more reader-friendly business model and self-host-able (AGPL v3). Source: about 1 year ago
Perhaps https://write.as will work for you? It’s very minimalist. Source: about 1 year ago
Hey there! Our colleagues over at Sanity.io, who are always at the forefront of structured content, have just rolled out two super cool features: Visual Editing and the Presentation tool. They unveiled these at their online shindig on November 17th, 2023, and let me tell you, it's got developers all over the world talking! - Source: dev.to / 7 months ago
I am fetching data from sanity.io (an array), the load function in my +page.ts file looks like this:. Source: 8 months ago

Go to sanity.io sign up for an account. Sanity gives instructions on how to create the studio however since we are embedding the studio on a Nextjs project we can just ignore them and navigate to https://www.[sanity.io/manage](http://sanity.io/manage). If Sanity created a project for you click on it and copy the project ID, if they didn’t you can click on Create a new project on the top and then copy the project... - Source: dev.to / 11 months ago
I was looking for free services and firebase provides free tier up to certain limits. And If I have to use sanity.io, or other CMS, their paid plan will be expensive for me. Source: about 1 year ago
