For the past two days, I have been unable to access xmage.de. Is the server offline? Is it dead? No one has said anything. Does anyone know what is going on???? I hope this is not the end!!! Source: over 1 year ago
Launcher hasn't worked for a week, can't reach xmage.de, and isitdownrightnow agrees. What's going on? Source: over 1 year ago
You can use Xmage or Cockatrice as dedicated online free platforms, or Untap for in-browser gameplay (Untap has no built in rules engine, so be careful that you're following the rules!). You will be locked to the basics, but you can get an idea from character building there because you can create characters and see how stats impact rolls and explore class features. You won't have to buy anything if you don't want to to start with. Here is a link to the basic rules you can look over to get a feel for the rules and what game play is like.
