I looked it up: Xonotic was the answer! It was actually quite fun, even though I had to compile from source to play on an outdated office server :) https://xonotic.org/. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 month ago

  • How is FreeSync under Linux?
Any specifics on which games? Does it work on any game? I tested Xonotic on a 144Hz monitor the other day and the highest FPS I got to see was ~90 with no tearing on Kubuntu liveiso but I was using Intel kaby lake integrated graphics, so I assume FreeSync was not at play here, even though the monitor supported it. FWIW, I'm trying out ToothFairy. Another option would be Perculia. Not ideal, but at least a one-click (or hot key) disconnect of the Elite 7 Pro that, if you remember to do it, makes it a little easier to switch to your phone. Source: over 2 years ago
