Top 31 ChatGPT alternatives that will blow your mind in 2023 (Free & Paid)
YouChat's AI uses artificial intelligence and natural language processing to converse like humans. It can respond to general inquiries, translate, summarise text, suggest ideas, write code, and create emails. As it's still in the development stage, it provides average answers.

5 ChatGPT alternatives to try when the AI chatbot is at capacity
Sure, it's not as sleek as ChatGPT, but YouChat has a slimmed down version(Opens in a new tab) of what ChatGPT does. Here's a song I had it write about chicken wings, in the style of the Beatles, for instance. It responded to the prompt pretty much just how ChatGPT probably would.

  • You.com Launches YouPro – AI Chatbot with GPT-4 and Stable Diffusion XL
I like you.com, particularly because their LLM tries to quote its sources and fact-checking is much easier. Still, their UX is unusably cluttered[0], which is a shame. Just out of curiosity - could you use this search UI day-to-day? I don't think I could. • ChatGPT Alternative
The title asks about ChatGPT alternatives. Here are some that I've playing with to compare and contrast: https://www.perplexity.ai/ (good at general knowledge) https://www.phind.com/ (failed at coding tasks on more than one occasion) https://chatbot.theb.ai/ (this one seems to be Baidu's answer to ChatGPT). - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago

I agree people are over reacting since new Bing isn't even available to most people yet. They're not even first to put AI into search - https://you.com/search?q=who+are+you&sharedChatId=b7ba11f3-fe8c-4021-98d7-8404283dd272&tbm=youchat. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago

  • Moderation on Lemmy is a fucking joke
A few weeks a go I posted a meme with the caption "My wife out-drinking everyone at the table-- Our unborn son:" [picture of Tom the cat in the womb]. I understand abortion is a touchy subject for some people, but it's not like I was advocating for or against abortion. After that, I posted a meme complaining about the lack of specificity of the rules on Lemmy and that post also got removed. That's enough to let me... Source: 9 months ago
  • This whole lemmy universe has me quite confused, but I would like to utilize it. seeking assistance
Im using the Jeroba app on android first of all. It just seems like lemmy is a complete and total mess. So many contradicting things Im seeing. And then theres instances and communities but apparently it "doesn't matter what instance you choose because you'll still have access to all other communities anyway". Well that is pretty much false. Like using lemmy.world for example. I'll search up for a linux community... Source: 11 months ago
  • I’m a fan of Squabbles, but the constant circlejerk over the developer is turning me off the site
Signing up isn't complicated, people just get confused by what "federation" means... It doesn't matter what instance (or "server" if it's easier to understand) you sign up for. I'm on lemmy.world but I post and comment on lemmy.ml and 10-15 other instances all the time. Think of instances as "copies" with different users and posts, but they all interact with each other (with a few exceptions). Source: 12 months ago

My subs on lemmy are mostly related to video games, but this points out something that confuses some folks coming over from Reddit - lemmy.ml and beehaw.org both have communities named "gaming" and they are separate...
