I'd suggest if you're going to use a tool to collaborate on finalized designs. One that doesn't rely on which design tool you use, why not use zeplin.io? Modern at first sight, but quickly dull the senses. Passable for their supreme usability (the Vercel dashboard works better on mobile than many websites on desktop). Just have a look at Mmm [1] or Kinopio [2] to brighten up your mood. Gopher and FTP servers were fairly soulless as well, so I guess this is just a bit of a nostalgic perspective issue.
