Absolutely; recently I realize I wish I'd never learned vim. I use too many other programs that are at least CUA-ish ( http://zim-wiki.org is the most important app I use ) and now I kind of want out. If you sling text around regularly, why not treat yourself to a decent text editor? Both Notepad++ (Windows) and Notepadqq (Linux) are free, open-source, and a hell of a lot netter than Notepad. Source: 7 months ago
