I'm obsessive about finding exactly the best app for me, and I was never comfortable with the centralized cloud PWMs. This is exactly why. I was never comfortable with the centralized cloud PWMs. That's one of the reasons I chose Enpass after test-driving a couple dozen PWMs — it's up to me where my data is stored. I have several separate vaults (work, personal, shared with family, etc.) on Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, and Box. (iCloud, NextCloud, WebDAV, or completely offline are options too). I'm vastly preferring Enpass (https://enpass.io) as password vault but there is no PWA; the closest thing I'm getting is the usual browser plugin and the Android (or Linux) application. The browser plugin is using TCP/IP to communicate with the password service but it isusually expecting it on 127.0.0.1. I could configure an IP address in the plugin but I neither have a name notr an address for the ARC environment... Source: over 2 years ago
All my accounts are protected by 2FA and my codes are kept by my password manager (enpass.io) which is an offline one - I can basically choose where to keep my backups. Why do I need a HW token if I have secure 2FA already? Source: over 2 years ago
