Features & Specs

  1. Cross-Platform Compatibility

Enpass is available on multiple platforms including Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS, ensuring users can access their passwords and data from virtually any device.

  2. Local Storage Option

Enpass allows users to store their data locally on their own devices, providing an extra layer of control over their personal information compared to cloud-only solutions.

  4. Robust Security

Enpass uses AES-256 bit encryption to protect user data, and features like biometric authentication add additional layers of security.

  5. Multi-Vault Support

Enpass supports multiple vaults, allowing users to separate and manage different sets of credentials (e.g., personal and work) easily.

  6. Offline Access

Since Enpass stores data locally, users can access their passwords and information even without an active internet connection.

  • Lastpass: Hackers stole customer vault data in cloud storage breach
I'm obsessive about finding exactly the best app for me, and I was never comfortable with the centralized cloud PWMs. This is exactly why. I’ve been using Enpass for years because I choose where my data is stored (and because it's customizable in ways no other PWM is — at least not the 20+ that I've tried). In my case, Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, and Box. (iCloud, NextCloud, WebDAV, or completely offline are... Source: over 2 years ago
  • LastPass says hackers stole customers’ password vaults
I was never comfortable with the centralized cloud PWMs. That's one of the reasons I chose Enpass after test-driving a couple dozen PWMs — it's up to me where my data is stored. I have several separate vaults (work, personal, shared with family, etc.) on Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, and Box. (iCloud, NextCloud, WebDAV, or completely offline are options too). Never happier about that choice than today. For a... Source: over 2 years ago
  • Is there a way to find ARC IP-Addresses?
I'm vastly preferring Enpass (https://enpass.io) as password vault but there is no PWA; the closest thing I'm getting is the usual browser plugin and the Android (or Linux) application. The browser plugin is using TCP/IP to communicate with the password service but it isusually expecting it on 127.0.0.1. I could configure an IP address in the plugin but I neither have a name notr an address for the ARC environment... Source: over 2 years ago
  • Is YubiKey worth the investment?
All my accounts are protected by 2FA and my codes are kept by my password manager (enpass.io) which is an offline one - I can basically choose where to keep my backups. Why do I need a HW token if I have secure 2FA already? Source: over 2 years ago
