Feedly [0] (web app and on IOS) has been amazing since Google Reader died. On IOS it makes flipping through items and saving them for later a smooth and relatively fast experience. [0] https://feedly.com. - Source: Hacker News / 8 months ago
With the introduction of my blogroll, my morning routine has changed without me having planned it. By displaying the latest blogger posts there by fetsching them while the site is build once a day, I start reading there instead of in my standard feed reader feedly. I no longer subscribe to the 40 blogs currently on my list, but use Read You as a blogroll reader in case I miss something. - Source: dev.to / 9 months ago
Some people enjoy sharing their knowledge on technical areas, blogs remain accessible and effective media. Feedly or Inoreader will allow you to follow the RSS feeds of these websites and consult them at your leisure, so you can follow the specific areas that interest you. - Source: dev.to / 11 months ago
Maybe not a perfect replacement, but have you tried Feedly? https://feedly.com/. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
Pretty sure Feedly is the most popular news aggregator these days. I've been using it for years, and it is great. https://feedly.com/. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago

> Google Reader was painful to lose at the time. But how many RSS feeds do you now follow? I've been a happy Feedly[1] user for many years since that dark day, and appear to be currently pulling nearly 70 feeds. [1]: https://feedly.com. - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
A way to group all these blogs in one place is to use a RSS reader. I use Feedly to read all my RSS feeds. If you want to get the OPML that I use to view these blogs, you can get it here. - Source: dev.to / almost 2 years ago
What's wrong with Feedly (https://feedly.com/)? I've been using it since Reader shut down and havent noticed much of a difference. - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
I happen to use feedly[1] as RSS feed reader since almost years now but haven't looked at it since a long time. Today, I found that the "popularity metrics" it usually showed around each link has disappeared. TBH that metric was about the only reason I used that app for. Being a coder, I can build a feed reader myself for the domains I've curated but this popularity metric was the USP. Have they stopped it... - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
I apologize for the non-floaty post, but this is important meta. If this post and this post are telling the truth, Reddit is going to make the Reddit API prohibitively expensive to use. Elon Musk Twitter is not a good role model. This will kill Infinity for Reddit and probably sabotage Feedly, ending the ways me and several thousand other Redditors get to Reddit. I use Feedly, not sure why it's not more frequently recommended. https://feedly.com/. - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago
This means that it won't be easy to get these feeds in your feedreader (as far as I know they won't allow to modify headers and, for example, the excellent Feedly does not use this trick). - Source: dev.to / over 2 years ago

Feedly — smart newsfeed. A handy tool for keeping track of the latest news and publications on your topic. Instead of being torn between dozens of bookmarks, subscriptions and social media channels, you can gather them all in one place and read them as a single feed. It will be especially useful for content managers, journalists and SMM managers. - Source: dev.to / almost 3 years ago
So I use Feedly, which I think it's very nice. There are a lot of alternatives, though, with various features, some paid, some free. Feedly comes as a free RSS reader, it allows you to also add web sites as sources directly (so they would parse the web site for you and serve it as RSS) and has other gathering methods that are paid, but as I will show you, can be replaced by free options. You can mark items for... - Source: dev.to / over 3 years ago
Recently added RSS/Atom/JSON feeds to my blog: https://blog.kronis.dev/ Honestly, I largely agree with the claim that RSS is dying. For example, on Windows I wanted to find a decent RSS reader to use, since recently coming to like the technology myself for consumption of news (since all of the sudden everything can just be boring text, as opposed to annoying and attention catching images, styling etc., allowing em... - Source: Hacker News / over 3 years ago
You should know that there are several decent RSS readers like Feedly which do a fine job of aggregating your RSS feeds, so before jumping the gun I recommend checking them out. - Source: dev.to / almost 4 years ago
You can try feedly[0] as it has at least some of the above — smart labels, custom grouping and easy access to discussions (on hn at least - I don't use the others). There's also a premium version which may support some of the other features you've mentioned. 0. https://feedly.com/. - Source: Hacker News / almost 4 years ago
