  • Learning guitar?
OK Fair enough. Reading your post I was in the impression you just bought it and that was it. If I were to buy such a high-quality instrument, I couldn't wait to play it! I learned the basic via justinguitar.com He has a excellent beginner course. Its just to learn the chords, a little strumming and can really gets you going. And it was fun! When I finished the beginner course I had enough to further learn from... Source: over 1 year ago

  • [NEWBIE]I’m a couple months in learning guitar. The problem I’m having is, when I try to fret my cords faster for some reason my strumming also speeds up. It’s like I can’t move my left hand faster without moving my right hand faster. Is there I trick or way to control this.
I also recommend taking the Justin Guitar free courses; they helped more than anything, for me, with learning how to change chords well and quickly. You can find that at justinguitar.com. Source: almost 2 years ago

  • [QUESTION] What's the very first thing a beginner should learn on a guitar?
Just kidding, probably the parts of the guitar and how to tune it up properly. After that start with open chords and get used and proficient moving between them. Frankly you should just go to justinguitar.com and start to learn there. Justin will walk your through all of it and it is free. Take advantage of it all. Source: about 2 years ago

  • What is the best way to learn guitar without a teacher?
Absolutely Justinguitar first and foremost but cross reference things too. Like if you’re learning pentatonic scales go and watch other instructors too. Maybe something someone else will say will trigger some understanding in your brain. I’m a beginner and when I want to learn something new I try to watch every reputable teacher on YouTube over and over until I think I have it. But Justin has a very well thought...
